Ms. Chai joined EQT Partners Asia Limited as CFO in June, 2005. She has more than nine years experience in the private equity industry, focusing on direct investments in Greater China and specializing in financial due diligence, investment monitoring and financial reporting.

Prior to joining EQT Partners Asia, Ms. Chai was a core member of First Eastern Investment Group, which had over USD 400 million under management. From 1995 to 1998, Ms. Chai was an Investment Manager with Peregrine Direct Investments Limited. Between 1993 to 1995, Ms. Chai worked with KPMG in Hong Kong and qualified as a professional accountant.  Ms.

Ms. Chai holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales in Australia. She is a member of CPA Australia and is a CFA charterholder.
