Mr Michael Schmidt joined EQT Partners in January 2009. 

Prior to EQT, Mr Schmidt was an Associate in the Financial Sponsors Group at Credit Suisse in London, where he focused on LBO transactions since 2005. Before taking his full time role at Credit Suisse, he worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions departments at Deutsche Bank and Lehman Brothers.

Mr Schmidt holds a master degree in Business Administration from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.
